"Paul, what do you know of the gods?" Joshua asked, hoping to get some clue he could use against Neu.

"Which god would you like to learn about?" Paul asked. "I know all of their teachings and scriptures."

"What is their relation to the first emperor Neu?" Joshua asked.

"Ah the legendary hero emperor who saved us after the dream demon severed our connection to the cycle of life and death." Paul replied. "I know little of him besides the legends of old as his time greatly predates our own. As for his connection with the gods I cannot say, nor can I say I ever thought of the possibility.

Though now that you make a case for it, how could any man hope to bring a world together after such a tragic event without the intervention of the gods themselves? Yes, they must have worked beside emperor Neu in rebuilding the world.
