"That is the whole fun of it." Joshua said. "Crushing his spirit will be fun. No doubt word has reached him about the insanely powerful fighter that was chosen to be the hero. I am sure that he was devoid of hope until that news reached him.

"Or you could stay hidden." Lucy suggested. You have a golden opportunity to get close to all of humanities defenders. They will trust you and tell you all their plans. Why not just stay hidden for a bit to find out everything."

"That would make the reveal all the more interesting." Joshua said. "Though is there really a point in spying on them? There is no way they could ever move against us."

"An ant can move a mountain." Lucy explained. "It will take thousands of lifetimes, but an ant could move a mountain one piece of dirt at a time. If you let discontent fester and grow, they will slowly corrode away at your mountain without you even knowing it.
