Chapter 141: [R18] Bathing with Fire

When Joshua and Rena finished their meals, they went upstairs to Joshua's bath. Joshua took one of the potions that Lucy had given him that will assist in skill development and prepared himself to endure horrible pain.

Rena just happily stripped out of her clothing and jumped into the water.

Joshua entered the water as well after he had removed his own clothing. He could feel the water start to boil around him as the heat escaping from Rena's body rapidly heated the water. He could feel the searing pain on his nerve endings but was suffering no damage due to his immunity to fire.

"Water is fun." Rena said with a massive smile. "I think it is my favorite part of the mortal realm."

"It is nice." Joshua replied, trying to hide the pain he was in. He did not want Rena to know about the intense pain she was inadvertently causing him, just by being in the water with him. Afterall, he needed her to hurt him so that he could gain a skill for burn pain immunity.
