Chapter 161: Turn my Wife

Their walk complete, they found themselves at Joshua's mansion. Matthias opened the door to greet them as they arrived as if he could sense their arrival.

"My lord, it is a pleasure to see you have returned to us." Matthias said with a small bow. "Would you care for a bite to eat? Or perhaps I could get you something else?"

"No, I am fine." Joshua replied. "Although Cassandra here might be hungry."

"I could eat." Cassandra said.

"Then I shall ask that you accompany me, my lady." Matthias instructed. "I shall take you to the dining hall at once and have the chef prepare for you any meal that you desire."

"Thank you." Cassandra said.

"Matthias, where is Lucy?" Joshua asked.

"Mistress Lucy is at the lake, something about experimenting with those visitors from another existence." Matthias explained.

"I really hope she isn't picking a fight…" Joshua said with an increasingly worried expression upon his face.
