Write a reviewI'm on chapter 83 atm I don't have much to say but good things writing quality is top tier. Updates all the time Story is really good character design is top tier the world-building is good too only thing that would make the novel better is some lemons. ;]
This is one of the best necromancer novels that I had come across. Man, the character development, world background, spells and the artifacts. I just simply love everything about this novel.
the story is all over the place. Gabriel acts like a bi polar character going from smart to stupid at any moment. the other characters are also like cardboard cutout cause they go from one extreme to next. MC is being carried by plot armour and it's not even done in a fun way. absolutely atrocious but I still have it a try upto chapter 160 but I can't ruin anymore brain cells. This is a story trying to be edgy and cool but failing. don't waste your time on this
I've read multiple of these authors' novels, and every time, I've been left disappointed. no matter if he writes 1, 10 or even a 100 novels, he seems unable to write something that's truly interesting
damn it . I read this a year ago. but this novel is still haunting me no joke. it's full of tragedy.......
Honestly I don't like dumb and emo mc and it's even worse when they are too lucky... Let's be serious his "plan" to steal all artifact in the academy was completely stupid even if you don't include how he lost his temper and killed this guy. He was only lucky someone else was trying to steal something at the same time...
Reveal SpoilerI tried getting into this novel despite the author having another story I quite dislike. Seems the author has a style they don't change up at all and this story from my view point also is not good. I'll sum the story up simply. No depth. No depth to the characters, to the world as well as to the very writing of the story itself. I don't expect writing of incredible depth by the by. However incredibly shallow writing with what appears to be no desire to improve on ones flaws doesn't sit well with me.
THIS IS AWESOMEE I LIKE THE STORY VERY MUCHHHHHHHHH................................................................................................................................................
I can't really trust this author. He writes very well, but he tends to abandon his novels or rush them just because the hype has passed. So make sure to start liking the novel and he ruining
Hey author I really like the story. i have only one question, will any of Gabriel or karyk will die? if yes please don't do this.
The story started incredibly well. Good world description, interesting characters, good story development. In the meantime, however, I can no longer get excited about this story because it is far too long for me and there are simply too many "special" aspects: not only dark eement, but also light, and a second soul, of course from a prince, but who is actually a god and now apparently even an archangel and now there is also a prophecy....what else? I hope the story will be over soon, I've been waiting for 2 years.šŖ
Reveal SpoilerAuthor, you use the word Unfortunately a lot.. I've seen this word so many times through the novel that I'm starting to hate this wordš
the start was cliche but decent and the english is good. but the whole story is so on the nose and childish also what's the point of making characters 18 if they act like they are 12, it's obvious it's only for the 18+ tag and because you want to avoid problems there but then you can't write then as adults. Everyone is very childish, the teachers the plot... etc, disapointing that a Holy Necromancer story lost it, you should try to read Grandson of the holy emperor is a necromancer it's very good
As i am reading further into the story, i became angrier, i really dont understand why the Author did that. This is what i called Anti Hero Novel done horribly wrong
āāāāā..............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
Seems like a rewrite of strongest Necromancer of Heavens gate, Iāve read some bad reviews but Iām still going to give it a more thorough read after I finish Strongest Necromancer of Heavenās Gate.
in the novel there are some high level mistakes that the author has made like the tower in the academy of elements where MC got the training in light and darkness element at floor 99 , the logic less thing here is that since both the teachers were soul fragments of the original owner why did they have any physical treasures like the ice ring, arcia Kingdom pandant and all those things should be out with there owners right.........
Reveal Spoileritās not good or great itās just ok the mc lira thing really takes your heart out of the story but you can kinda deal with it later on the two end up separating it was cool but you donāt know anything about the original mc yet and iām only chapter 670 they killed off the best girl author has romance tag honestly he needs to get rid of that tag the romance is nonexistent in 600+ chapters so that definitely doesnāt matter the battles donāt make sense sometimes they are extremely drawn out for no reason and the author just had one god blow up their whole planet killing everyone (best girl) goddess of nature brother itās just all over the place tbh
Didn't make it that far in. Chapters are pretty short and multiple chapters are used for small scenes. The pacing is slow at the beginning, and a lot of the logic behind the MC and the people around him are not realistic. MC motivation is weak, and apparently, the author is still unsure of how the story will progress by what is in their comments.
When does he reincarnate? I'm in Chapter 15 and so far he's only been resurrected, no reincarnation.
After around 300 chapters, I thought I would share my opinion. The pros: * The story has an interesting magic system with clear specializations and classes. * There is a good amount of mystery, especially anything about the Gods, numens or Karyk in particular. * Some wholesome moments during the training in the 'Tower of Challenges' with Cylix and Novius. * Effective revenge. * MC's potential for growth? (Only people who went beyond the 300 chapters can tell for sure) The cons: * Too many coincidental encounters with 'young masters', 'young nobles' or 'head priests' for my liking leading to unnecessary face slapping. I can understand it can happen but when everytime the MC feels at peace there is such an event, it just feels forced. * The misunderstanding of Lira & Gabriel leading to unredeemable relationship is a wasted opportunity, no matter the excuse presented afterwards of Lira being possessed or having ulterior motives. In my opinion, this was a perfect synergy made in heaven. * Gabriel's mental or character progression is not consistent. Sometimes, it feels the guy actually learned from his mistakes and at other times he just feels like a spoiled child. If you want to be a loner with trust issues, why do you want to rule an empire in the first place? The 'Blood Demon Emperor' chapter made me quit.
Reveal SpoilerIt was a good attempt author, the story started to go downhill from the point where he betrays Lira, after that the story lost depth
Reveal SpoilerLiked the beginning, was hyped for the Story so I read it up to chapter 613, but I wouldn't recommend. The MC just doesn't get one W in life man, always something that has to ruin everything... This novel will just gets on your nerves in countless ways the more the story progresses .
For warning everything ahead is text to speech so there will be errors. Honestly I don't really know how to feel about this story. There's so much good about it. That even the bad parts in my opinion, are easy to glass over. But one of the hardest things for me about the story. Is that the further you get in the story? The more you realize that there is more than one main character and well, that's not bad. Sometimes it gets a bit frustrating since the author likes to split the perspectives from following one character and following another character. Massive spoiler add when gabriel and karyks Homeworld are destroyed neither of them are connected with each other so they no longer can talk to each other. And while there isn't a bad thing. The bad part is that they get separated into 2. Totally different story pads. And they don't even talk to each other about it. Sometimes because they can't, and that wouldn't be bad in itself. If we didn't hear them, Talk to each other for 200 plus Chapters, and you Know that it's going in a Bad direction for both of them. The authors literally setting them up to go from being a person whose soul was essentially split in 2 by with different personalities. If that makes sense to 2 people who are going to be at each other's throats, because they'll have not only differing opinions but different outlooks on. How the world should proceed. And while that wouldn't be a bad thing, I'm just saying that after 200 plus chapters of the suspense of wondering, when they're finally gonna talk to each other, or when they're finally gonna meet up, it drags onto a point where I just can't be bothered. Anymor and that's no fault of the author it's probably a fault of my own simply because I want them to talk immediately. I want the climax to happened right away, but that's because the author keeps laying down points in the story where the climax can happen at any time, but then it just passes away and it gets really annoying..
So I made this account because I was really disappointed with the rating this novel has. I really tried to give this a chance but honestly the writing for this novel is so barely mediocre. It had some decent foundations for an interesting story but it really falls off a cliff at the same time as the main character. I could forgive the fact that the characters just don't act like people if the plot or world were interesting or unique enough but they just aren't. You can't just spit out tropes and contrivances and cliches and expect it to work as a cohesive narrative work.
I just started reading these kinds of novels.. This is the best one so far.. I can't stop reading it, I love this book.
The MC is ubsurdly obtuse. You can ignore it if you want and maybe it improves later but as of now it's a very grating read. The writing quality it also quite terrible with whole paragraphs being added that don't need to be there at all. An obvious ploy to inflate the word count. E.g. "Either he could stay here for eternity, or he could jump in the strange river and try to swim for an unknown amount of time. And now, the third option was available, which was to get in the boat and let the Spector take him."This is very early on and when you read this paragraph in context you'll see that absolutely nothing is added. In a way that's almost impressive. As I said maybe it gets better later but early on (~c17) it's just a bad read. As always there's much more that can be said but most of it is negative and you get the general jist.
Note: I dropped it after the whole scepter tampering plot so don't take it to heart if I complain about something that's explained later on. I liked how the novel was going at first as it reminded me a lot of how modern media depicts the King Arthur legends, but it all went downhill afterward. First, in the story, gods, the reason a specific element exists, are killed more than once. Secondly, he comes across such information all too easily. Sure, it might be explained by the collector of artifacts who lives in an artifact of a demigod designed like a city, but it's still too early and easy to obtain and reveal such information. There's also the betrayal of his childhood crush, which happened with so little hesitation that she attacked him personally. After that betrayal, he becomes a 'bit' more untrusting. He completely refuses to trust anything or anyone. Finally, when he finally gets the darkness scepter, he does one of the most idiotic things I've ever seen, which honestly had no logic behind it. Rather than trust in mutual benefits, give the scepter without doing anything, and just go with who could've been a generic FL, he planks to tamper with the scepter and then give it back because he doesn't trust her. If he didn't trust her then he could've given it back and left, tried to just kill her then and there, or just run away. All of these would've removed the need for the generic revenge plotline that every avid reader knows by heart at this point. And as if that's not enough, the author decides to have the new antagonist torture MC rather than killing him and quickly running away from the soon-to-be chasing churches. All in all, some parts of the novel look like they were written by an experienced author while others look like they were written by a Chinese Wuxia author who mindlessly writes.
Reveal SpoilerComplimentary first review from the Author: The story is set in a world where magic exists, and each Magical Element has a Holy Church, with the Holy Church of Light being the most influential and strongest. The only element which doesn't have a Sacred Church is the Element of Darkness as it was destroyed, being thought to be the work of the Devil. Since then, all Dark Mages were hunted by the world and killed whenever discovered. In this world, Gabriel wakes up with the Holy Element of Light, but due to circumstances, he wakes up with a second Element, Darkness which brings him at an unexpected crossroads. The story will be an epic filled with mystery, adventure and actions. Please give it a try.
