Chapter 246: An Encounter

[: Clarosia POV :] 

After the sun had descended, we made our way to the twinkling candy shop that my sister and I loved so much.

''Clarosia, why don't you stay here while we go inside and buy you all the sweets your heart desires?''

Sister Telly asked sweetly, her voice tinkling like a bell. I smiled and nodded eagerly in agreement.

''Alrighty then,''

Sister Hazia said with a wide grin as she rested her hand atop my head affectionately.

She shared a knowing look with her sister before they stepped into the quaint shop, leaving me standing alone outside, awaiting their return.

As Clarosia waited for her sisters to return with the sweets, she noticed a group of cloaked figures approaching her.

There were 10 of them and these individuals were cultivators.

Their sudden appearance startled Clarosia, her heart racing with apprehension.
