I love this book! But I really need an update, please!! it left off at a cliffhanger. [img=update][img=update][img=update]
I really enjoyed this book BUT it's not finished!!! When is the next chapter beyond 520??!!!!!!
can anyone say if there is a second book to this. such a huge cliff hanger...... this is not complete

This book is not complete and it literally ends in the middle of the action. If you like reading stories with satisfying endings this is not for you. Hence the reason I try not to read incomplete books.
Before I share my love for this story, you need to know that it's another sudden ending out of nowhere... it literally ends mid-thought, at a climax! No attempt at all to tie up any and all loose ends and storylines.😑 I'm not super mad though, like with other early ending novels on here. I guess since they didn't bring in an unrelated person to squeeze an ending out, maybe? 😅 But there's no way someone could force an ending out of where they stopped it. Probably not even with 50 more chapters! That's how suddenly it ends, and how many open plot lines are fully active. So be warned before you spend your money! That being said, I loved it!!!!!! (And would love more, if there's a 'part 2'...🥺 WebNovel, you know how wrong you were with this!!!) I enjoyed the progression, the characters, and the 'world'. Even the nonsense white lotus dramas and such that are needed for these plots weren't terrible and drawn out. Bai Lin slaps faces immediately, and doesn't suffer fools lightly. But she also doesn't start the drama. So to me, she's a wonderful FL! Oh how I wish I could read how the rest of the story plays out! 😭 It really did feel like it made it the near the end of the MIDDLE of the story... So many questions and issues are unanswered. In fact many questions haven't even progressed to being asked! 😭 Oh well... though I loved it, I'm not sure if I'm glad I read it since it didn't even make it to near the end. I wish I could tell you that it's a must read! Because it almost was! But it hurts too spend a ridiculous amount of money on a 'book' that doesn't even end. If it was a paperback, and I only paid 20 bucks or so for it, the pain would be much less. So do with that what you will. Guess I should be happy it wasn't 2,500 chapters in when it was abandoned.🤷🏼♀️ If I find a second book that continues the story I'll adjust or remove this review, as I really loved this story and don't want to harm it if I'm misinformed. 💖😘
Book clickbates you into thinking it’s finished but ends on a cliffhanger called “The End”. Do not recommend😡
Although the novel Story and the characters are all good but the only flaw is that this book gives a incomplete feeling....it's leaves us hanging at the last chapter. I really hope that the author can complete this book[img=More pls]

I want to read the chapters but I get blocked, and now I don't even know how I can continue reading. I would appreciate it if someone tells me how I can unlock the chapters.

Currently reading until ch. 250 . The first chapters got me hooked as the FL is not the typical FL who got reborn or still stayed with her family despite all the abused she suffered. I was really enjoying her relationship with her brother and the progression of her relationship with the ML, until the face slaps became more frequent and seems like the story is revolving around it. It also does not make sense to me like she wants to hide her mercenary identity and wants a peaceful life then proceed to showcase abilities that don't fit her current identity on NATIONAL TV. The audience are also weird to make speculations about her being the top mercenary when she just showed her martial arts and gun skills, when there are literally other profession that can have this abilities. The other mercenaries are also dumb to believe this that they even come to the variety show just to make a scene. The side characters are also one dimensional. They are dumb enough to repeteadly come up with plans to go against the FL despite knowing her abilities and continue belittling her. Overall, the FL is so contradicting that she wants to have a peaceful life but then proceeds to do things that will reveal her identity.

I'm starting to like the story. It's not like other typical stories that most of the heroine are weak and need protection from their leading man. The characters are great specially those of supporting characters they not stay as stupid and be fooled by the villains.. I hope it will continue as is. and God bless to the author you did a great job for writing this kind of novel. Hats off.
Not your typical fake daughter verses real daughter, this one has spice!!

WARNING! It’s “complete,” but there is no ending. It stops abruptly mid arc. The story is pretty predictable and repetitive with all the face slaps and stupid, entitled characters, but I was still enjoying it and would have continued reading.
