Write a reviewI'm on chapter 487 and I have to say that Author must be a Slytherin, as of this chapter he has graduated Hogwarts and the plot twist I've read make me say one thing. This is one of the most ambitious fics I've ever read. If you ignore the harem then this fic can either go down iInthe hall of Fame or sink in to the depths, that is how ambitious it is. The only two complaints I have are the ridiculously big harem and the story development which I had to give one star. is the story good? yes phenomenal, it WOULD HAVE deserved dive stars... unfortunately the author is very fond of skipping large sections of time in fact he completely skips over Harry's seventh year and jumps straight to graduation which felt extremely rushed and ther were other similar instance shut not as big of a skip. End result? this story is worth a read even if you hate harem to be fair this story is 490 chapters in as of the time I'm writing this and the furthest the harem has gone is giving each girl a kiss and I mean the innocent kind, not the lewd kind, not making out, just a quick kiss.
As an avid fan of harry potter, I see this work as an attempt from the author to deeply understand the subtleties of various characters and reimagining them through the lens of a harry who has his life significantly changed. the attempt to doing this is very innovative but is certainly lacking if you ask me. there should be a blend of originality and innovation when writing fanfics and it should atleast adhere to most basic logic as I see it. most authors especially fanfics misuse the prior knowledge and give unnecessary advantages and significantly changed the very essence of a character's core. if you ask me for an example I'd say that harry knowing random stuff about the wizarding world and knowing the language of goblins is utter bs. he knew parseltongue and it later evolves into the more rare omnitongue so I don't understand from where our harry got to know the language or customs of the goblins. if the author says that harry read them all while he scanned the books I'd say it as an attempt at lazy storytelling. it's frankly quite absurd how he can just scan any book and know any information he wants, might as well call it the library system than tech system as I've still not seen anything remotely related to tech even though I'm nearly 70chapters in the story. while the plot of a manipulative dumbeldore is interesting i also have to voice my concerns on how absurd it is for harry to be so manipulative and scheming at 11 years old especially given his rather reserved and introverted nature considering the life he's been living for 11 years. if acquiring a system can change ones core nature then you ought to wonder is it a good or bad thing to continue reading the book especially given that I am an avid fan of the original. while it's interesting seeing all the political routes and mind games, chess checkers etc ultimately harry is an 11 year old kid locked up in his house and quite frankly doesn't know shit and doesn't have much eq and emotional depth. so the part in which he somehow becomes a confident, cunning and ambitious heir to a wizarding family from a mistreated introverted boy living under a staircase is quite absurd
It's not a bad story, it might even be good in some way. The problem is that everyone talks as if they eat a thesaurus for breakfast every morning. And everyone is literally unbelievably polite. The eleven year old boy, his formerly - abusive aunt, the bloody goblins, everyone!
The novel itself is good, the characters have good development although I feel that they left out the issue of the system since it only appears at the beginning and hardly appears at the rest. But it does have some good moments with depth of plot, even if the context in which those moments occur leaves me a little confused. But it's good.
Love.................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
I like the story but it just irks me on how the character interactions are just glossed over, it feels lacking and not that much memorable.(Except Nigel) #UndeservedHate #JusticeForNigel The time also passes too fast, but I guess Author-san wants Harry to grow quickly but it's been 400 chaps and he's still in his fourth year... props for him to wanting Harry's journey to be progressive in details but it would probably be better if it didn't dragged for 400 chapters and most certainly even more till he reach his seventh year. I guess Author-san doesn't want to add any crossovers? It feels like the fic will end after Voldemort's defeat and mc with his loved ones will live happily after gg Not trying to downplay Author-san, read this book and I lasted till chapter 410 cuz it's pretty good but on how the story progresses just grow too stale for me and I can't stand it anymore. My point is the only two important components this fic lacks are memorable character interactions, and don't let the time progression passes too fast, I can't even register it hehe Overall, everything else is solid
120+ chapters in, everything is on a good track! The only lacking thing is the perspective of the other characters when mc is not around. Wish little bits of that happened, not just fully focusing on the mc but the other characters too. Overall, the fic is really great!
The book is great for me. Even if the story is slow I like the way that book is not constricted to Hogwarts and the history of Hogwarts also has interesting story . The interaction between the characters is fun to read and does not become boring with time. I love the witty comebacks of the Harry. Hope the book continues to update till the end.
It's one of my fav Harry Potter fics on here. keep up with the awesome chapters and remember to take breaks if you start to feel burned out. :)
Interesting concept. The background setting is also good. Character development and the story is quite slow but fine nonetheless. Here's the issues- 1. The so called "Dry humor" of the AI gets annoying really fast. It doesn't really add to Harry's development after the initial parts of the story. 2. The AI inserts itself in any conversation repeatedly without any needs and throws a "witty" remarks trying to be funny which it really isn't. Like seriously, in almost every conversation it throw quips after someone speaks ruining the flow completely. For example, Harry is complementing Daphne for her get up saying "You like really nice in that dress". Now here, Daphne should naturally reply with something and keep the conversation going. But no, we get an AI throwing a completely unnecessary remarks and somehow Harry just chuckles everytime. It completely ruins the mood and almost compels reader to just stop reading. I barely passed the 110 chapters and everytime I open it my hand automatically twitches to the back button after reading 4-5 paragraphs. 3. And finally, it might be my personal opinion, but the writing style of the fanfic feels like I am reading the script of a British stage play. Maybe some will like it
Definately good read. And I gotta say author, one of the best fanfic of HP. Good work and the attention to detail is just...... Up to 117 and just loved every chapter.
This is a wonderful fic with *MANY* great aspects to compliment, but if I praised everything noteworthy then I’d be babbling for ages, instead, let me point out the few flaws it has, the rest, like I said, is great. Flaw #1 Earlier chapters (<50) are kinda drab, the first few are great, but then it falls into a lull as Harry explores potions to an extreme amount of detail and the AI companion begins to get annoying Flaw #2 The AI companion, as mentioned before, can become a little much. Even though he sometimes offers a small respite from the story’s tension with dry wit and sarcasm, a lot of the times it just gets annoying. At a certain point whenever I saw a paragraph about “Nigels quips” I’d just skip and go to the next one. This hasn’t been an issue recently though, for the past 50 or so chapters Nigel has been radio silent. Harry and the AI had a small disagreement but I can’t for the life of me understand why they haven’t even tried to patch things up a bit. Feels too petty for harry. Especially since Nigel helped him so much at the start; literally saved him from the Dursleys. Flaw #3 The banter between friends can be a little much at times as well. The characters being a little too… I don’t know how to explain it properly… plasticy? So many smiles, laughs and quips bouncing off one another and not much emotional depth or complexity. Although I hope this is fixed soon, Harry is growing up and the bonds he has with his friends is deepening, so I can only assume that the depth of their relationship also deepens.
I love it except it got a little tiring at some points but then again I usually read this stories after work and I’m a substitute teacher that mostly works in younger grades like 1 and second graders then come home to finish my masters in education on online school . So I’m pretty exhausted by the end off work and after I finish my assignments.however I’m excited for more keep it up
It's a really good read, full of insight into Harry Potter. The only problem I have found is im on chp 70, and it is only the second day at school. That puts the second year at chapter 400 or more. Each chapter may be a couple of hours for Harry. The first class was 3 chapters.

Please tell me there is no harem I really don't want to abandon such a wonderful story In the end all great stories are ruined by the presence of harems
I really like this new approach to harry potter. The writing brings out the max version of harry and places the spotlight on Dumbledore's manipulation.
you definitely deserve the name "thefanficgod" from what I've seen not only is this work interesting it also entraps you in it story and world.
The story is really good. this Harry Potter has been added to the favourite au Harry Potter list with Nigel in the AI list. just his quips starting with AH is getting annoying. So I'm going to try to put every AH gifs in the comments when Nigel starts with AH..... Read the novel to find out.
The plot, background changes, and the manipulation element is good, in some part Really good. It's just that harry and his AI interraction feels really bad. Sometime it feels like harry is being coddled by the AI, sometime harry is repeating himself, sometime harry feels like he knows something he shouldnt have(even with the AI's help). I dont know if the development gets better or not, but i'm currently around chapter 40-50 ish "potter's haven". I got tired of reading from the filler chapters about him learning the descriptions of spells.. hopefully it gets better after he goes to hogwarts..
overall, it's good. it's just the pace is too slow for me. 100+ in and we're still at Christmas break of first year. first 50 being pre-hogwarts. while I love me a good HP fanfic, 60-70+ chapters(just guesstimating) for each year feels a bit too much for me.
Slow paced, well written story. I just wish Harry uses the technology system more. He majorly only used it for potions till now.
really like the ff, quality is great, same with updates(1 chap a day i think) development is 'only' 4 stars cause it isn't 'fast enough' but in reality there's just a lack of chapters and I'm used to binge reading books. there's also the fact that i don't want to give 5 stars despite really liking the book and here's why; it hits a pet peeve of repetitiveness that i dislike, if something is stated to be a way, no need to keep saying it over and over, occasional reinforcement is best imo, what i mean is dryness (literally) every time Nigel comments it says "with dryness" "with his usual dryness" "with his usual dry humor" it happens sooo much in the beginning and although decreases in the middle and newer chapters it really annoyed me in the beginning second; Dumbledore using something (legilimancy? Imperio? probably not, it says compelling spell) anyway, i think it gives Dumbledore too much credit especially related to Hermione there was almost no way he knew she was gonna be so great at magic unless he influences her studies too? it feels like a forced plot (ron's fine tho due to order of phoenix stuff, wanting harry to be influenced to join his faction later) third, he matures too fast with bad explanation imo, especially since there are easy ways to make it make sense, like occlumency being the reason, with his mind being more ordered/rational, or the simulation thing, that makes him experience more in a shorter time p.s: I've only read 61 chapters and usually binge 60 -120 chaps at a time so I've come around to read again (don't ask why increments of 60 idk)
Reveal SpoilerI love the story, although the title is a bit misleading considering there was no mention of actual technology.
