Chapter 107: Death Anniversary

Evelyn's face flushed red at Avery's words and when her eyes met with Zevian, it was hard to hide her embarrassment. Even the hospital staff looked in her direction, increasing the urge to dig a hole and bury herself. 

"So, will you reconsider it?" Avery asked again with a smile. She leaned over the door frame and looked at her friend, making it obvious that she was all set to tease her. When the staff looked troubled, exchanging glances, she added, "They have been through a lot. Don't you think they deserve to stay together?" 

The doctor shook his head adamantly much to Avery's displeasure. With a serious face, he replied, "Their bodies are still recovering and can't handle any activities. It's too dangerous, sorry."
