Chapter 128: A Perfect Ending

Evelyn felt heat rush to her cheeks at his words, his gaze causing butterflies to flutter in her stomach. They had been so busy and caught up over the past few weeks that she hadn't seen this side of her darling husband, one that was reserved solely for her for the rest of their lives.

She missed their teasing battles, catching each other off guard, which made her feel giddy like a high school girl walking with her crush for the first time.

The workers quickly followed Zevian's orders and brought Dazzle again. The black horse looked majestic, ready for another ride as it neighed excitedly under Zevian's caress.

"She's missed you so much," one of the workers commented, most of them happy to see their young master back, just like Dazzle. Zevian used to visit the farm often to relax and de-stress from his busy life. But after Katherine's death, he stopped horse riding, even when he visited with Rosalind.
