Write a reviewI like a bit of the “China in the 80s” setting but they’re consistently hyperfocused on what everything costs and how to make money, which I found mildly interesting at best. This story is chill and the events surrounding fL and ml had me curious but the 80s genre keeps interrupting like an annoying third wheel. I couldn’t care less about selling vegetables - why are we always subjected to the price of vegetables in fictional, retro China? my grandparents used to say “what does that have to do with the price of tea in China” and I’m realizing that perhaps the cost of Chinese goods has always been an irrelevant and pervasive side character.
I enjoyed this story. There wasn’t a big climax nor was there any super exciting scenes but it was a nice, calm read. I liked that the character’s temperament was consistent throughout the story and she didn’t suddenly change like in other stories I’ve read. The only thing that bothered me was that the names kept on getting mixed up throughout the story.
The story was interesting. I enjoy reading about that period of china and rebirth characters. Some misuses of names and gender and I lost track of a character in the extra chapters at the end. Couldn’t remember who it was. The main character has strong luck in her second life, with quite a bit of smooth sailing. Not many rocky moments. It was a sweet story.
it's emotional with many scheming plots, very realistic. our FL had learned from her mistakes & have a loving family 😂😂
decent slice of life without too much op of the lead characters. only the mistakes in names and grammar made it a little tiresome to read till the end But the MCs were cute and kind so it was nice to follow them, really enjoyed the friendships. A bit too much emphasis on food and eating, which either made me hungry or bored many times. 😅
An interesting read, no OP or crazy strong abilities, so far so good, I've gone through about half the book so far. Apart from a few obvious continuity mistakes, it's pretty good I like the realism depicted.
Other than translation errors mixing up names and genders the quality is rather decent. The story was engaging and I finished the whole thing in a couple days.
Really enjoyed the story. I love that the main character didn’t have a cheat but one of her friends did.
Thank you, Author, for the lovely story! I really enjoyed following Lu Jinqiu throughout her life!
I really enjoyed this compared to other similar story. It's a complete story with proper closure of each characters tho I usually skipped whenever 'business/investment chaps' came up. Recommended 👍
loved it. especially loved the extra chapters at the end. wasn't an abrupt ending like so many of the stories on here. there was closure for many of the characters. also especially loved that the "villians" didn't get their happy ending. would recommend it.
Reveal SpoilerI have just started reading this book. I have not gotten far into the story I’m just curious as hell and I want to know who the male lead is before I continue on with this story, also is the OG wife that mean ugly bitch is she reborn also or nah?
Wow! Super story. After long back I am reading good story. [img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update]
This is a story about a woman who dedicates her whole life serving a man and even took over the responsibility of raising someone else children only to be kicked out when she's old and gray. She didn't listen to her family and gave her all to that guy. but now she's reborn and decided to focus on herself and reciprocate the love and care her family gave her which she neglected. She's not a doctor or anyone who has powers. She's a painter, and illustrator. a designer. not a jack of all trades. A good one for this week. Im kinda over the other novels 🥲 - raws please??? 🥰

Everything about this novel is great. I really wish it didn't end.
