This is probably my most favorite mc. He is low key but not a turtle unlike some in webnovels. He is hard on his enemies but quite kind or generous to innocent non martial artists, a martial saint who has the qualities to be one.

I've gotten to roughly chapter 50 so far and I can say its fairly good. Its nothing special, but its a fairly engaging novel with a likable MC. The MC is quite smart and cautious, and isn't really written as evil or good, for the most part being neutral. My only complaint is that the MC feels a little bland sometimes due to his nature, but I'd rather have that than the usual hero MC getting himself into trouble, making unnecessary enemies, etc. The world almost seems to be a bit of a blend between your standard wuxia novel and a little bit of an almost Lovecraftian sort of feel. The pacing feels solid, and the progression so far is good, however it can be a bit basic at times. For example, MC will train, then instant time skip 6 months, he's at a new level of strength. etc. I do wonder how the author will handle his power progression later, because at chapter 50 he is already quite strong, and with his "cheat", he essentially doesn't have many limits besides his environment. The world building isn't bad, and I appreciate how the author sprinkles it in here and there as opposed to walls of text you'd sometimes see in books, but it does feel a bit lackluster at times. Overall, I'd say that the novel atleast until where I've read is quite decent, and is worth a read. I think if the author handles it well, and develops the story and their writing further, this could be a very popular novel.
