very good stuff. it feels like frieren pacing. the vibes story execution feels like the actual og material. i like it how it does not just copy paste the og story with some modifications. it feels like an og novel which is very intruiging when the ff interacts with aspects of the og.

superb writing, the character has real depth, world background is good considering I haven't watched or read Freiren(yet).The only real thing I can complain about is the slow updates. This is one of the few fanfics that made me invested in this site

Writing properly, with coherent logic and uncommon ideas, doesnβt guarantee that your story will become one of the best. (Iβm not saying the top 10 classics are bad, but theyβre often way too clichΓ© β except for the one where the protagonist is Doma.) Anyway, keep writing this gem.
I like it. I hope that when the protagonist achieves his goal of becoming human again, he'll start researching new ways to apply magic in scientific research. This could help advance this magical civilization, and perhaps in the future, he'll be able to travel to space with them.
Thus far, 19 chapters in, I'll say this is an incredible work. Truly a diamond in a sea of AI slop and poorly translated Chinese slop. Keep up the incredible work!
This a a very good slow burn story about a man trying to regain his humanity in the world of ferien. This has more or less stable update speed but makes up with thick chapters. Dont be fooled by it low chapters,
Instead of boring you, let me put into perspective just how good this masterpiece is. Out of 100 fanfics on this site: 60-70% are casual. They donβt have grammar, not good pacing, and no control. 20-25% have some potential. Decent story telling, clean structure, and purpose. But have issues with dialogue and tone. 5-10% have real narrative voice. They have a concious style, real narrative voices, and actual thematic purpose. <1%. The absolute top tier. Writing first, fanfic second. Everything, from language, tone, and overall writing is good enough to stand against actual published works. This one clearly is in that less than 1%. Itβs not just a good fanfic. Its a literal piece of literature that just so happens to use Frieren as its framework. 100% would recommend to anyone that can actually read.

i love how your character is written, even though it's a fanfic, I can see you put a lot of love and thought into this work. Great story. if you put aside that this is a fanfic, i feel like that even if you didn't know frieren, the story can stand on its own and be its own identity.

A masterpiece of story, the writing is perfect it's like reading another story that's happening in the world of Frieren. I'm waiting for two find each other, and the way Freiren will react to him.
Slow to update, but very high quality. The author very clearly puts a lot of work into this fic, and it shows. One the best Frieren fanfics out there. The pacing is also kinda sttange but it very much fits with the setting, so it's not hard to adjust to it. 5/5 would recommend.

im really enjoying the novel it really captures the inhumane mindset and how it's easy to lose yourself overall 10/10 my only problem is that there isn't more.
This story is amazing. The writing is incredible and the characters are well fleshed out. I also love how the writer has done the magic system. The only critique I have is that the chapters release slow but that is to be expected because these chapters are colossal. So having to wait a week for a chapter that big is understandable. In conclusion this is a great novel and you should read it if you like magic systems and incredible world/character building.
I think this novel has a lot going for it, the best so far being the main character. There aren't a lot of chapters yet so i wont say its the most fleshed out character in all of fiction, but it is miles ahead of most other novels on the site. especially in such little chapters. The religious aspect is an integral one that works so well together with him being a demon, a magician and a scientist. His goal is also a valid one as far as motives go. The writing is well done and the slow burn gives it the seriousness this type of story deserves. Many of the lesser aspect of the story also come from it being a slow burn, the world building isn't there yet as the Mc likes to live in isolation. i suspect this will improve with time. The motive while being a valid one doesn't invoke much excitement so i wonder how the story will progress. All in all this story has a lot of potential with him being a demon and how frieren will interact with him being a demon with semi-feelings. final rating 4.6/5

This is truly a masterpiece. The writing quality is rly good and the chapter lenght is insane. Finaly a good frieren ff that isnt the usual cn bs. The only downside to this novel is that the mc is religious, not bc he doesnt kill and stuff thats good even but just bc I can even remotly grasp why one would believe in a god like he does.
This is an excellent piece of writing. It is very rare to come across a fanfic of such quality on this site. The flow, descriptions, and overall execution are handled with great skill, making it stand out among many others. I look forward to reading more of this work
It's rare to find a good story like this one. It has a good update rate, and the chapters are long. The quality of the writing and world-building are absolutely magnificent, and I'm eager to read more. I just need to know one thing... will there be romance? I, personally, would love for there to be romance in the story, either with Frieren or perhaps with some demon in the future who can learn feelings thanks to her unique magic. Of course, I don't expect romance to happen out of nowhere; there's still a lot to happen in the story. The protagonist is still suffering from people saying "good morning" to him, but I hope that later on, there might be hints if possible... I like romance. I'd also like to see more perspectives from other characters and how the protagonist changed the world, as it would be interesting to know that society in general improved thanks to his inventions and knowledge shared with other magicians. It's such a breath of fresh from all the power-fantasy trips most other fics in this site usually go to. The religious aspect is understandable and actually explains the character's fixation as a Frieren Demon. In fact, it's his faith that keeps him grounded and not resort to those Demonic instincts.
