“Even if this universe is truly nothing more than a brutal, bloody, shadowy forest, we Cultivators will burn all that we have just to give off a single weak flickering spark in the darkness!
“No matter how weak each spark is, how short-lived, how small… As long as the sparks flow unabated, then one day one of those sparks will light some tinder, and that tinder shall light some fallen branches, and those branches shall set ablaze each and every last tree of the forest!
“In the end, even the smallest sparks will eventually set the shadowy forest ablaze and illuminate the whole world!”

I love this novel and the translation quality is very good. The issue i have is the fact that the translator seems to miss at least one release day a week, with no communication as to why aside from a post on the story page that is weeks old. This combined with an already slow release schedule makes the story move at a glacial pace. The rate of 3-4 chapters a week makes it very difficult to enjoy. View More
So far I am amazed. The character develops along with his abilities, creating a well rounded MC. But the well roundedness does not destroy the image that he is still human, and that he himself has flaws. It is good that there wasn't too many fortuitous encounters and focused more on social chances, making the story relatable in the social sense. Development of the world building aspect so far is good. View More
An amazing story that makes one's blood boil with passion. The story pulls you in and makes you feel like you're apart of the world, their anger, their sorrows, their joys all become yours. A fantastic story if you like passionate intelligent protagonists and a very well developed world, this is the story for you. View More

I really enjoy the combination of Xianxia and Warhammer 40,000. I'm a big fan of both and I feel that the author does a good job of combining the two into a unique story.
Because of this combination, it feels different than most Xianxia that I've read while still retaining enough similarities that keep you from getting lost.
I especially enjoy the fact that he is a crafter and that the author put a lot of thought into this. The few crafting xianxia's that I've seen either doesn't have good story development or make the crafting development a very minor thing. But here, neither seem to be lacking. View More
As an ethnically Chinese reader who has read tons of web novels in Chinese, I can promise that this book will blow your mind. I have got to around 1800 chapter(in Chinese of course), and the story development only gets better. The first 439 chapters(the first volume)are only slightly above average among other web novels, and I can say that because I have read so many of them, but after that the story transcends to an entirely new level. (In fact, in the comment section of the chinese site many readers complained about how cliche the first volume was) View More
well, I don't understand English to a great extent so can't tell about translation quality. World background and Character Design is excellent. while the release is very slow and very unreliable compared to the previous translator. View More
Why millenniums? It should be Millennia.
I can't say anything about the characters background and development, most authors unravel them as the story progresses. However the world building is a solid five stars, especially in the field of originality. Dispite many reused terms, the way these genre specific words are arranged in different way compared to most cultivation novels. I especially like the mix between tech and cultivation, a fresh breeze in the midst of one of my favorites tag; "tech-magic blend."
**: Sorry for the messed up star ratings, don't take it to heart. Blame it on Android Qidian App, it's pain to type a review and click to rate. View More
I really love this novel. It has an awesome world building, nice main character and great plot development. What really bums me is the updating stability, since the translator seldom updates the story. View More
A very mixed bag with everything from a background\world history more or less directly stolen from Games Workshops Warhammer 40k game. (chaper 67:ish) to mechas and cultivation. All in all not a bad read. View More
I think this is really good sci fi novel. The author really thought about the world building, explaining the cultivation world and the past events. The plot also isn't repetitive and the mc is pretty smart and wasn't shameless pervert assholes with overpowered power. The problem is the translation update kinda suck. View More
