Pretty typical cultivation novel with the added bonus of mechs and a veneer of Warhammer 40k. On the whole the novel isn’t anything new or different and I wish it leaned more into the 40k background as a base for the story instead of a generic cultivation novel fit into a 40k lens. The novel isn’t poorly written or translated but it isn’t anything special either. If this novel dipped more into 40k it would have set it apart a lot more. Also as far as I was able to find there was nothing written about a hiatus, but I could have just as easily missed it. If there was notice I would have given the novel a 4 or 5 for updating stability. As it is now I would like to put it at 1 but the novel doesn’t deserve such a large hit to it’s rating due to poor communication. I left it at 4 because that is what the rating would have been if I was able to leave it blank.

After fully reading the novel through mtl I can guarantee every reader who has the patience (or speed reading skill) to read through slow paced developments will be in for a thrill. As the story progresses the plot becomes more and more intricate without feeling forced. Building up to a masterpiece of a final arc (excluding epilogue and spinoffs). Its just too bad that all my friends think I'm crazy when I try to summarise the world background in an attempt to convince them to read it lol. I can't spoil themes and similarities to other novels as I believe the first few arcs will gradually control your mind and help you settle in this new universe. Edit: as I've read the story before I can't comment on updating stability.

This is one of my favorite cultivation novels. It does a good job incorporating action and humor into a story with complex characters, a rich world, and a deep history. I really enjoyed the battles between world views the protagonist goes through along his journey as he encounters people and civilizations with differing philosophies. Definitely more depth than you usually get in this genre while still keeping this light and entertaining

This story is worth 5 star in every rating but you authors who write great stories, can you please just stop for one minute and think that you are relating things to divinity in your novels. Describing God as a being that can be killed. A being like an ordinary human who is greedy, evil, cruel, hungry for power, have animalistic desires like ***, can be fooled, can be injured, can be killed. This is total "Blasphemy". I know that you write these beings described as gods to show that they are strong and mighty but that too is blasphemy brother. Can't you use other words. Fear the true God brother whenever you think of relating something to divinity.

5 Star Rated Review from my perspective First of all , this ain't harem . Secondly , romance ain't the main concern here . We rarely see it but cliche when it occurs . Thirdly , this novel is ordinary in the beginning but I believe plot development starts before chapter 100 , it's just you need to trust in that development such that novel never stops improving until chapter 2000+ where there seems lots of information to read as only then we will understand significance of the fights. Fourth, this is the most important point but we readers above points first. The novel seems too original for us readers . It has logic everywhere. Even the stuff we might not understand will be explained in future like how cultivation was initiated and so on . Well there are only hints regarding it now , but will be explained later on I guess. Fifth, both evil and good protagonist loving readers will enjoy this . Until now reverend insanity(RI) and this novel has been my fav . I enjoyed reading both a lot . But yes unlike RI , this novel will later develop our ordinarily ruthless protoganist(it's shame when we compare any ruthless protagonist to our lord FY of RI novel) to super good guy who will do anything to protect the weak(not just anything but when you read that's what we readers feel) but story element will cover the demerits of such mc .
