I enjoyed this book very much thank you.But I must say that I greatly disappointed with the end, all through the book, it thrived to one direction, and the flow, albeit a bit boring sometimes, was interesting and nice to read. Wang Zhang is a likeable character and sensible. But, the end was abrupt, sudden, and completely uncharacteristic.As a person who read until this point, I must say that I was greatly disappointed, and I would like to get what append after that.I am curious as to the identity of his parents, such a smart person has to have origins.Thanks!

This is a good novel in many ways but the ending absolutely sucks, to the point where I would even recommend people NOT to read it. There are several clear arcs, based on the MC's progression to "the next stage". Each of the arcs in themselves are very well written, and my favourite is the first arc, because of the fights, although I've read people complaining about the slow pace. I loved the build up of the fights, and the author took the time to bring in other characters so that the fights mean something, not like other novels where characters turn up for one chapter for the specific reason of being face slapping targets for MC. (It's like the difference between MCU and DCU! 😝) However, the novel ends really abruptly on the 4th arc, and it's clear that it's a forced ending, with many unresolved questions. It's such a bad ending that I can no longer go back and reread this novel again, because no matter how thrilling the fights are, I now know that they just don't lead anywhere. anyway, read this novel for thrilling fight scenes, but beware the horrible ending! 👻

Nice story, it's not harem. But the annoying parts took away the good points it earned. The fights drag for too long. Adds more powerful enemies and suddenly out of the blue mc also has hidden power that is not discussed before. At one point it made me feel like a masochist for reading this cause of all the difficulties mc has to overcome.

I enjoy the story but man the author has to make up his mind on the MC romance. He says these girls are attractive amd his body even reacts to them by getting stimulated but then says he see's them are kids ok little pedo and his excuse for not really liking girls or even wanna a physical relationship is because when he was a kid he had an illness and was lonely thus s$x is not possible..... what! he can't love anyone cause he had a few hard yrs in the beginning. Author is you are going to make him an Immortal virgin stop leading us on.

The level of thrill and suspense caused by this novel are unbelievably high. I'm basing this review on the comic version that I am currently reading(binging).. I'm around 110+ chapters now and so far it's amazing. I'm not saying it's perfect though being it does have a few holes here and there but those are overshadowed by the hype you get from reading this.

This story was so addictive to read and still one of my top favorite books but the ending was absolutely disappointing which is sad because up until the last arc it was a solidly enjoyable ride.

This is one of the only novels that I have been able to read until the end. I’ve been on this app for a few years now, and with the quality of newer books degenerating every day, this book is definitely a grade or two above the rest. I will sincerely miss reading about Wang Zhong. Farewell to the book that kept me up past 3 in the morning.

if you want a writer who constantly digs at the MC, and makes him seem like the worst, then enjoy! this book is for you. if you want a book to read because the others you're more interested in are still in development, than by all means. it's the only reason I am reading this aggravating novel.

I've read this from start to finish and it is quite the ride for good and bad. As the book is complete you have nothing to fear in terms of updates. Basic quality of writing is abysmal for the first half of the book and a serious edit would do a world of good for the novel. The latter half of the book is in good nick. The savior of the first half of the book was the competent story, whilst not infallible, it was interesting enough to keep me reading. The unfortunate part is that whilst the writing quality improves in the second half, the story degrades quite severely. The second half is rushed and has been poorly planned by the author. Many things are taken in leaps and others are forgotten before being shrugged off later in a side note. Having just finished the book not even an hour ago I can confidently convey my disappointment for a book that promised much more. I hope that someone re-writes this one day as it could be so much greater than.... this. Is it worth a read? Give it a go. Is it worth finishing? Probably not.

at long last I have completed this series. its a good story, but like others, it became bored in the middle. maybe because the story keep dragged out.

i kind of just read through novels just to read them, but this one really stood out. one of my all time favorites along with RSSG and ISSTH. ending is a little rushed but other than that, great progression and it all makes sense. a great book to just enjoy

It started out very well. Story build up and writing were fantastic. World building was excellent and detailed. The ending though... is worse than the last 3 seasons of Game of Thrones combined. There were more plot holes than a grater. Unbelievable how the entire story was ruined there at the end by rushing. Felt like there should have been at least another 150 chapters.

All the books of this author are very similar to each other. If you read one, there is no point in reading the rest. This particular one is probably the best representative.

A good read. The world building is well done, character design has not been neglected compared to other novels and the plot goes slowly but surely. Some chapters are a bit useless but it's pretty much okay. The translation was seemingly starting well but there are way too many missing words, mistaken words and negation mistakes.
