...I can't believe the same author who wrote the magnificent Alchemy Emperor of the Divine Dao was also the one who wrote this trash. Sure the interactions outside the game and with other players from his region were great but the info inconsistency and the blatant racism is just too much especially since info changes too frequently and MC is racist to practically every other country and not to mention his extreme rudeness even to those close to him.
This is one of the first novels I read on this site and it made me get the app. I really like it, even if it is a bit cliche, mainly because it can't seem cliche if it is the first of it's kind you read. I like video game novel, and this really feels like a video game.
the story is interesting and all but other than the plothholez that you can just ignore, the way the mc treats other nations just makes me feel disgusted. I've read other novels that also do the same thing so I guess it has something to do with inflating the ego of the chinese readers
I don’t care if people didn’t like it because the MC was op as ****. Or that the characters were one diamensional. I like the book and it was worth my time reading it. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk
A good story i must say but you must endure the racism in a lot of chapters (basically japs). Although there are little things forgotten and bummers like no other skills from god of war after Lvl 180 even if said he will gets skills every 20 levels, Daffodil is forgotten even though she is basically with them and also a wife material but not added, Drizzler is too greedy and maybe its just me but it would be great to know what happened to his company and the trust fund company after he left. But still a great ending, and some humurous part which made me laugh and good character development when he chooses to forget Lin Yu but it would be great if there is a little part where MC have known to what happened her and her fate after Liu Wei died. That's all thank you for a great story because i loved VRRMO novels.
This is Tynan, I am an editor from another platform that focuses on adventurous Genre Fictions. After reading your “MMORPG: Rebirth of the Legendary Guardian”, I decided to contact you and if possible, to extend you an invitation on distributing your works. However, there are so little I can talk about it here. If you were interested, please contact me via email@example.com
, then I should take opportunity to discuss it with you in detail.
It was a great pleasure to meet your story.
Main character reincarnates and has a goal of being the best in the popular game in order to overcome enemies with fame and glory. The attempt at this was average for the genre but still a fun read on its own.
Mc was not a perfect protagonist and that’s a good thing. He was an oaf in mannerisms, showed clear flaws and made mistakes enough to seem human. He was smart enough to predict major moves against him. One of the best things I found about him was that he drops his reincarnation goal of getting with his old lover who turned her back on him for family. That’s some strong character development.
The main side characters were not great. They had unique and fun traits, but they were either over or underused. Usually in the wrong places. He has a love hate relationship with basically every girl he’s close to so they always insult each other constantly. And they would do things to each other that cross lines so much, like the little brat always steals the best loots she wants for herself and Mc just lets her like it’s cute. Others would have a fun trait like Daffy (best wife who isn’t utilized) had a cute fantasizing trait but that happened for like 100 chapters and disappeared.
At some point you realize that the editors miss tons of small mistakes and you have to just kind of reason what they really mean and ignore it. Boss tier, how many 0s are in that health/dmg value, stuff like that.
The gameplay is the biggest portion of the novel so some people got bored and wanted more irl chapters but I loved how they made tons of truly unique feeling bosses and dungeons. Irl scenes had much more impact on the characters and plot but had the downside of some extremely weird or unlikely scenes like accidental boob grabs or deciding to spank someone only for them to turn into a masochist who is obsessed with Mc.
MC always says he is a BETA player, whenever someone asks of his achievement, can't he do it secretly. The novel is all about dungeon raids and no story at all. It's very boring to always read a 3 to 6 chapters of him completing a single dungeon.
There were more useless dialogues than the story.
So, he is getting an average of about 90 million gold a month, just from the teleportation channels, itself. Substracting the management costs..In conversion, it will turn to 180 to 200million$ a month..(bound to decrease upcoming months)
Along with his shop (not counting shared gold). He can get 300k gold a day on average. It may increase 400k to 500k, due to all the recent popularity. But that aside, he is getting 12 to 15 million gold a month, and given 1:3 conversion rate he is now making about 36 to 45 million$ a month.
For now, his earnings won't change much even if the cash to gold conversion rate will keep decreasing as given his capabilities he will surely have more future sources of income.
However, 'Lonely Desert Smoke' already has around 5k to 6k core players, so the fact of them receiving a salary of 50k a month, already makes him spend 250 to 300million$ a month.(and that's just the core players, the elite players probably gets even more)..
[Let's not even delve into the repair costs of equipments, or amount spent trading in auctions.]
In conclusion, author should stick to realistic figures. Just by giving all this salary and stuff, the amount he is left with at the end of the month is in <b>negative figures.
Sigh~~~~ i just finished reading the entire story (although on another website bc f*ck powerstones but ya) it was really touching and interesting read. There is a good blend of gaming and real life drama (sticks to mostly gaming if your worried about the story getting into politics or whatnot) all the characters are lovable, annoying (in a good way) basically they all have their own character (except the perverts). Reading the last chapter really hit home. Although the story did take some weird turns during the romance parts, which the author was kinda struggling in, but overall it was a good read and i highly recommend it. I hope and wish i can find a good novel like this again that'll keep me reading.
I actually laughed out loud quite often on this story. The world comments in the story ate quite close to most comments in game. Some of the team mates were annoying initially but kind of grow on you as the story progress.
Even thou it has been consider as a novel with the MC getting all the good stuff ,the girls ,a large corporation and many more things. It didn’t disappoint to produce funny moments and action, truth be told it could have been better but it was good none the less.
