Decent enough gaming story. You can see the author grow as the game goes on. Characters are often archtypes but stay consistent. Bit of male power fantasy going on, but it's not to on the nose. Ends semi-abruptly, but also moderately satisfyingly. Try to get over how much the author leans on WoW in the early development.

Great novel! My only beef with this novel is that overly annoying and stupid character build called Wei Yan Er, it's ridiculous. Also a few minor mistakes like skill cooldowns and monetary earnings. But it's hard to tell if they are author, translator or even editor mistakes. But great work nonetheless 👍. 4.8/5 Blame Wei Yan Er for the missing 0.2 🤷‍♂️

I like the start of the Story but for it lack the hate and betrayal I only read through chapter 39 I think it was good but I don't know what will be the story

Here is my review after completing the novel . And yes this is a genuine one not a racial bias or country bias, I have read this novel and so far ,I feel that there is something wrong with imagination and straight racial criticism . Chinese proverbs and words are quite the eye opener the ideals and philosophy I quite like it....but painting oneself above others can't be justified with a simple fiction like,"Hey this isn't real and fiction , so far so good but if there is too many authors writing the same plot direction where do you want me gain the thrill of reading virtual reality novels.... everyone does the same stupoid sheet China winner China this China that, in regards to this reading a Chinese cultivation novel is much better though there are some issues with too much cliche. Story background totally irrelevant , forgotten about the MC's first lover and harem is all over the story.. You can't even manage one gal and u get 5-6 gals....congrats hope ur life won't come crashing down....novel pace too fast and the end is a bit rushed .

This was a great book it had a good balance of in game and real world scenes, Which allowed the reader to take breaks from repetitive content in most mmorpg style books. I highly recommend this book!

this is your average mmorpg novel. its wuxia i think, and has lots of hot woman and face slapping. the mc goes shield tank but with damage hehe

A great work with an interesting storyline which focuses on both the virtual world and real world. It keeps up the updates in both places and keeps the plot interesting. The characters are constant and well-developed. The MC surely is OP but the supporting characters also keep up. All in all, its fantastic.

...I can't believe the same author who wrote the magnificent Alchemy Emperor of the Divine Dao was also the one who wrote this trash. Sure the interactions outside the game and with other players from his region were great but the info inconsistency and the blatant racism is just too much especially since info changes too frequently and MC is racist to practically every other country and not to mention his extreme rudeness even to those close to him.

This is one of the first novels I read on this site and it made me get the app. I really like it, even if it is a bit cliche, mainly because it can't seem cliche if it is the first of it's kind you read. I like video game novel, and this really feels like a video game.

The process that the story is progressing is stable but in the beginning, I just wished that there was more action.

I think it Is a overall good story that differs from the traditIonal lone warrior who works alone after being sent back in time. I think it is a 3-4 Stars for sure

the story is interesting and all but other than the plothholez that you can just ignore, the way the mc treats other nations just makes me feel disgusted. I've read other novels that also do the same thing so I guess it has something to do with inflating the ego of the chinese readers
