I guess this arc was just to validate the 'Sci-fi' tag as it talked about AI and stuff. Now that it's over I want more money faceslaps. As that is the reason I read this book.
I didn't like the arc as a whole but the ending was a work of art. I was quite satisfied with the level of interaction between the AI and MC as well as the rational for the MC. Kudos to the author.
In the end, I found the AI interesting. Perhaps a story from an AI POV would be good, but as a standalone story.
But this arc was pointless, unless the MC learns something from it
Started of this arc super confused and annoyed but really ended up loving it by the end. This would have been awesome as it's own story since it was really interesting, instead of being shoved into this one, but either way, I liked it.
This arc was confusing as f... but followed an interesting narrative and even dropped a very deep and mind blowing thought at the end. This was time well spent.
I have to say, this arc is extremely profound. It touches upon the meaning if being human. What makes us human? It shows a different aspect of humanity through the eyes of artificial intelligence, basically, what it thought emotions and being human were like. The author must be extremely good as he managed to put himself into the position of an AI and write it down. My congrats.
So just to put it out there i skipped through all the chapters until this one . after reading 2 chapter from this chapter i ended up going back to read the arc &surprisingly it made better since so if you are confused (AS I WAS) skip ahead read this chaper first and reread from the part when the I.A let him into the gate. Now everything makes sense. Which the storyline was great but if threw me off alot i thing this would be better in a film.
