Years ago, when the donghua first came out, I liked it. It was such a breath of fresh air. But I never expected what a big impact this novel would have on my life. It was when I came across the novel that I fell completely in love. There was comedy and cool fights, yes. But the characters were what truly caught my heart. Here was an author who wasn't afraid to have a diverse and nuanced supporting cast who were very skilled in their own right, with their own hopes and dreams. They did not detract at all from Ye Xiu's "cool factor". Instead it made every struggle more fraught and every victory that much sweeter. I've only followed this since the donghua first came out but it's been a daily fixture in my life ever since. I've literally thought about this every single day for the past 2 (ish) years. I'm really really sad this is over. Yes, I'll reread it again and again (and again and-) but a big part of what made this so fun was experiencing it here tigether with my fellow readers. It felt like we had front row audience seats to every dungeon, to every match. I'm sad that it's over, but I'm so so glad that I was part of it. I want to give a VERY BIG THANK YOU to all our translators. Your efforts have given me something that has absolutely changed my life. If you guys hadn't taken this on, I would never have known what i was missing, so thank you 💙 And thank you also to Butterfly Blue, for writing this glorious, magical, precious treasure. Butterfly blue’s brilliant work is finished, completed and honestly? One of the greatest parts of my life. TKA has been inseparable from me for a couple years now, and I’m sorry to see it end now. The last chapters left me wishing to just catch a glimpse of a higher stage. A higher stage Butterfly Blue has left to our imaginations. I’ll miss waiting around after school for the next chapter, but I’ve loved every step of the journey. I guess I’ll finish off with, “Friends, have you ever heard of the kings avatar?”

it's really over 😭 I can't handle it well, I'm tearing up and I feel sick and anxious, TKA has been deeply involved in my daily routine for years, it feels like farewell, like it's ultimate, I can't handle situations like this well, why does life have to be so cruel and harsh, because of the translation pace I was also harsh towards the translators sometimes, I like TKA soooo much and I always had really high expectations for TKA, that's why I'm that passionate about it, I still really appreciate the translation, even when I sometimes get harsh, many of the names from the comments have gotten familiar, we do have quite the community, it's also sad that it's going to end now, I will definitely reread TKA a bunch of times, maybe we'll still see us once in a while, I will be around

From a typical (or so I believe) Fan's point of view, I would like to tell you about my love for TKA. I have been following this before it was on webnovel since early 2017. I was boarding a plane to HK for my elder brother's wedding and needed something to fill my time on the way there. Who knew I stumbled across this gem and began reading it. Once the series was shipped over to webnovel, I was happy to see it become more popular but most displease that I had to potentially start paying for new chapters. Instead I would shamelessly (in the spirit of YX) make new accounts and do self referrals, in order to unlock the latest chapters. This is all because of my passion for TKA and the glory that it has to offer. I shamlessly admit it that despite not supporting it financially, I would still leave this comment to show my appreciation for all that you and your team has done. Thank you. On a more serious note: This novel and all the people who worked on it are truly the best. I started fan boying over this entire series after I watched a video comparing TKA to SAO, severely disappointed that SAO became a harem fest. I have never looked back since. I binged through the animated series, and came here to webnovel to read the translation. I remember waiting every night at midnight for releases. I have read this series for a year now, and it has become a huge part of my life. It inspired me to write my own webnovel right here on this site. It helped me through stress of APs, finals, college aps, providing that humorous break that I needed. Honestly, I don't want it to end. Tonight, I will feel strange, staring at my phone going "Where in the world is the next update?" to only depress myself by realize it is over. I am both happy and sad it is over.
