As you may have gathered from the rating it's my favorite book on this site. I feel the attention is excellent with information not dumped on the reader. Instead gradually added over course of the novel is welcomed, and a main character with a weakness (age) makes them reliable not a Mary sue.

This is one of my favorites, it made me cry and laugh and even motivates me when I'm down. It takes me a very long time finishing this, I'm glad that I finished this.

I haven't reviewed this one yet even though I already reread it so many times 😂 just one word for my fav God, Ye Xiu SHAMLESS buuuuttt I reeeeaaaally love his character, he's a good leader but he just unlucky to meet ungrateful (ex) teammates. I feel so sorry for him. he's so sincere towards them but they treat him like that 😢 I still can't forgive them about that

One of my favorite anime and novel, I also love the live action adaption. The character is well design, but the story can be repetive. However I love the friendship explore in this novel.

There’s nothing I can say that hasn’t already been said; I can’t say enough about how magnificent this novel is. So many days of thrilling updates and the end was so hard to get through because it had been a part of my daily life for so long. This is how I fell in love with webnovels. ❤️

One of the first books I finished and loved reading on this site. I especially liked how a lot of characters get fleshed out, not just the MC, and how the descriptions make both real-life and video game action easy to follow/imagine (which is significant, I think, because I don't play lol).

Well, I'm on 1,300 chapters where team happy is in the semi-finals facing the team of Huang Shaotian. This story is great and got me hooked till 900+ chapters. But my interest has slowly faded after that since all the opponents and their abilities/potential are already revealed. Even so I will rate this book 5stars. That's a great story for you!

I became acquainted with this story from the Chinese cartoon adaptation. I really liked the episodes I was able to watch and want to see where the rest of the story goes. When I saw it offered here, I became excited to be able to follow the rest of the story. I will revisit this review after I have completed reading it, but I am optimistic that it will be a fun ride.

I can't remember many other work that has made me feel all from giddy happiness to the bittersweet. I still remember sitting in the garden during summer obsesively reading chapter after chapter. It became rather exhausting and I had to take a break but I never stopped loving this novel.

I have no intention to write a review cuz I finished this novel for almost 2 years, however, I just cross to the authors Weibo and find something he has to say about this story and readers.

If you aren't a patient person then you might as well get outta here or you'll most likely drop this book halfway why? because every chapters are freaking long! and that's 1000+ chapters for you on the other hand, if you are..then welcome my friend! to the world of Glory! where every characters aren't 2D; each of one has very unique characteristics and their actions in the story are really in lined with their character design that I almost want to choke chen yehui to death when he keeps blaming ye xiu likeee spoiler alert! anyways, the pacing of the story is slow, very relaxed which leaded to smooth transitions in world building although there are also flaws as time goes you'll get so hooked to it that you can't afford yo pay attention to those anymore and just hurried to read because you got so excited for yexiu's comeback! all in all, it was a good read and I realized that I'm no longer a fan of blue butterfly I turned into an Air conditioner *salute to the author

The King's Avatar is by far my favorite novel on this platform. Besides comedy and action, it also contains moving scenes that hits you right in the feels. It is just an overall fun read that keeps bringing me back just for those special moments. I'm on my 3rd read through and it still manages to keep my attention.

Awesome story, I came here after watching S1 of the anime and stayed till the end. One of the masterpieces of this website without a doubt.

Really good read - characters are well developed, plot is good, fun to read. There's just some small continuity issues here and there. It could use a bit of editing, nothing big though.

I love this novel, unlike other novels that have unrealistic problems, this novel goes deep into detail about the E-Sports gaming world, it shows real-life problems, and the part where Ye Xiu is forced to retire from Excellent Era because his skills are declining are so in sync with modern-day society, the second you aren't useful to big corporate companies, you will be immediately fired, this story builds up slowly, and is very detailed with Ye Xiu's rise to the Pro-league again. It shows just how much of an advantage his knowledge of years of playing Glory gives. Just 5/5, would recommend it, this was the very first novel that I read.
