Like many long-standing novels this novel suffers from a lack of competent translation. Yet coming from someone whose biggest red flag is bad grammar and translation I read the entire novel in full, This could definitely go done along the likes of LOTM or similar novels if it just had better translation, most novels I can sorta get a sense for what’s likely going to happen next, this novel is very unpredictable though and honestly refreshing. If you can get through the first 200 chapters with the bad translation I would be surprised if you weren’t hooked to continue reading.

This is one of greatest tragedy stories I have ever read,the story of the Dark King is exsplores so many idea and how we social structures in our society tackles never struggle that human do for desire creating our own apocalypse and would or worse escape that cycle. If you’re interested please read this novel by Gu XI PLEASE!

What a wild ride, translation sucks after chapters ~600, but it was a incredible experience on the darkness of the human heart, it should have had a worse ending anyways. thanks Author for this masterpiece

Hello reader, i want to say that this novel is special and unique in its own genre. The main hero not op and his power wasnt gived to him or he got it easily. No. He actualy earned it and deserved it. SPOILER ALERT IN THE BOTTOM! This is my favorite novel and it affected me a lot. Now i understand more and think more, even if it sounds strange. This novel gave me emotions that i couldnt describe. It can be that this novel hitted me in the deepest part of my heart, something i always dreamed of. The best of the best for me. You can say that im overrating it and e.t.c. But its just my honest opinion, no fanatism and other. I like it and thats all. I cried, smiled, lived with mc till the end! Im just... speechless. This novel deserves more. U should try it at least, its free and u can drop whenever u want. So, i said all. Read or not is your choise, but i highly recommend to read it. Its just perfectly fitted to me and may do that to you too! Try, all life is about trying, so why not try when u can do it freely? Mc should deserve good ending but it was authors idea from the beginning. I was crying in depression when the last chapters, i wanted him to tell us what will be, will he resurrect aisha or why he didnt healed her?! I just cant describe it. I felt like i was on his place. Its just like i was mc and was in this unending suffering. I... this is my words after reading it to the end. I think i might start to writing my own work, but its only future. I've read this novel up to the latest translations when it stopped updating. So when I saw it was complete it got me excited. Then I find out its actually just MTL. I was hoping this novel would get an official translation, but now there's probably no chance to get one.
