I was never patient to read and because of boredom that made me read this on my friends phone, and I was captivated! The story's development has a nice flow to it, the chief character has the fragility of a normal human emotions, thus, fear, desire to be greater than himself, greed etc. The story ended well with the potential for the hero to develop further example is becoming as powerful as the overgod of the edicts or even surpassing them. Great story by all standards.

Excellent book! Great pacing, great story, I didn’t notice any loopholes, MC was very natural, and didn’t make stupid choices for story. Not that he did everything perfect, but he did what seemed like a good choices without excessive plot armor to me. It’s completed, but nothing felt rushed to me. Highly recommend to anyone interested in the genre! I can’t think of anything negative about the story as a whole other than I wish there was a little post story chapters for fun.

Read this somewhere else but I gotta complain, im on book 17 and the main character is getting repetitive, everytime he stops his training to go somewhere or does anything there has to be an enemy he has to fight. The one time he leaves the azure dragon clan he gets attacked when there hasnt been incidents for a thousand years. the one 2 star mission he takes happens to be involved with a 7 star fiend and two super big clans. I dont like how there is so many unnecessary things happening for plot. And the main character every time he gets a minor power up he gets over confident and someone comes to "humble him" its just so stupid and repetitive I find it hard to further read.

I’ve read numerous western/eastern fantasy novels as fastasy has always been one of my favorite genre’s to read, but Coiling Dragon is by far one of the very best fantasy novels I have ever read. It was able to cleverly combine some of the best aspects of both western and eastern fantasy into one epic story. A story that is in my opinion a must read for any novel enthusiasts.

My first ever web novel and I love it. I recommend it to everybody starting out and those who have missed it. It has an incredibly vast universe and the story building doesn't feel forced or rushed.

This is one of the first story's O read and in my opinion is one of the best. I believe this because unlike other story's this one flowed smoothly without making me loose intrest with its steady power growth and plot development.

The main character is a sîm p; the author tries to hide it under a veil of edginess though. FL cheats on him and he forgives her and aids her although she is legit a th0 t. The characters are all bland and repetitive, overall this is a overrated novel. Very unsatisfying to read; if you can't write romance don't! It ain't hard. Like seriously I feel like this novel gave me brain damage. Yes, it's that bad. This novel had the potential to be good but was ruined by a probably (?) hor ñý as§ author. World background is overall decent (very cliche though). Translation is quite good.

This novel Is how I got into reading web novel's and Wuxia novels. It is a gem and everyone knows it you could ask anyone that has a decent knowledge in fantasy and wuxia novels and they would say the same.

Left me hanging at the last chaps, feels like rushed. There were some small holes but they were neglible, over-all, i will rate it as the sixth top novel on my list.

I have read many books few have reached this caliber. I am writing this as thanks to the Author for producing this masterpiece. How this book is not talked about more is beyond me. Do not be turned away by the length as each chapter is full to the brim with action and love. The author goes above and beyond with character development and foreshadowing, and treats each character with respect. Life long friends are made and lost, love is found and cherished. The book tells the life of a genius and his trials. He is not overbearing or materialistic, but not naive and childish. If you like fighting and action there is plenty, power developemeant and traning too. This cultivation/magic novel is among the caliber of Supreme Magus and Demon sword. Read and enjoy this work of art!

This novel seems really good so far, great worldbuilding as far as I got and a likeable main character, it's my first experience with cultivation novel (actually the second, but I dropped the first one after 5-10 chapters, so let's say Coiling Dragon is the first) and it's extremely detailed, fleshing out anything that a newbie should know before diving into the genre. Really good read so far
