Reading the synopsis I'm more inclined to believe this situation is caused coz female lead did not have guts to reveal the love and did some pretty stupid things. I mean anyone would get pissed if their "so-called wife" said, I only seduced u coz I wanted a part in the movie. I mean that's a real hard slap in the face or a kick in the nuts.

No one seems to realize this was all started by the FL. The FL told the ML to stay away from her to hide her feelings in the 1st place. Only reason the ML is acting like an a**hole is because FL gutted him 1st.
