Gentle when he threw you off the bed or when he was was choking you to death? Somehow I'm thinking we come from different worlds with different definitions of gentle
All I can say at this point is F this guy. I don’t like him. He’s an asshole. Like WFT is this mess? Who acts that way? I would’ve tore into him a long time ago, but the protagonist doesn’t do that. Why? Is it a cultural thing? I know this story takes place in China, but still I would think that traits of being an asshole are universal. Why doesn’t she just leave? & don’t give me any of this nonsense about her being in love—SHE’S NOT IN LOVE! Obsessing over someone is not love & as of yet she hasn’t given us any reason as to why she loves this fool. Is it because he’s hot? Cause that objectifying. This relationship is a train wreck waiting to happen.
Okay... This chapter hit me in a twisted way because I recently got bitten in the shoulder less than a month ago... By a mentally low-functioning, non-verbal 16-yr-old child diagnosed with ADHD and autism who recently had aggressive tendencies.... But when I was finally able to push this kid off me (we're both around the same height and weight), at least he didn't draw blood. So as much of a sound mind Lu seemed to have so far, I couldn't help but grimace with my relatable flashback. Yet, here's the main difference: I took this job knowing I'd be dealing with autistic children and the potential aggression that may arise due to lack of medication or agitation. But... Qiao didn't know he was THIS obsessed with her to the point of trying to "do away" with any trace of another man touching her body. Instead of having the balls to punch the producer for potentially making a move on her, he inflicts harm on her instead? Oh, that's low, Lu; have you gone loco?!
