Uh oh.. The plot thickens.. But man how stupid, it's clearly a dumb plot to make Link look like he's gone rogue. Even I could see how dumb it is but those elves believed it? Meh kill them all!
Although its frustrating seeing the elves suspect Link, its also reasonable that they wouldn't fully trust him after the things the princess pointed out.
For once they use brains instead gutting in. Sneaky shadows...
The High Elves, that brat of a Princess are just too fearful and not reasonable to see beyond the front.
This plot is to weak to cause suspicions on someone like Link. The elves are just arrogant and they just became dumb due to this small conspiracy that is obviously a set-up.
They are too arrogant that they even resorted to copying someone's thesis, the same humans they look at, as inferior.
The last conspiracy against prince Philip didnt even teach them enough that this is just to take out threats so they can easily come out victorious in the war.
First was to stop the aid of the high elves, 2nd is to take out the most threatening human by isolating him or much better having him killed or restrained by the human hands themselves.
It's just so obvious, I guess they need more lessons, this is the sole reason why only one race(dark elves) have advantage against all the other races so far. It's simple, wisdom. As far as we have seen, the dark elves have displayed wisdom that is higher than both humans and high elves, while other races are still chilling thinking this doesn't affect them, sooner or later they would be next. Once a fence gets broken by a flood, everything behind it will be swept away.
