it starts off horribly. it's written very well, but at the start, it's like "wait, why did I ever start reading this?!" ... but it gets better and better. such an emotional rollercoaster, though I didn't mind crying my eyes out at 3am reading stories on webnovel. i read this book 3 or 4 years ago when it was translated in weekly chapter uploads, and it stuck with me so i had to come back and find it again. cried all over again.

5 years ago, I read this book 2 times .5 years later, I'm reading it again and have kept it in my library for years. Ye Fēi Ye, 因为我要让你知道你是一家非常棒的作者，我学了汉语。 she's amazing

Honestly, I don't like YFY novels. They promote abuse and make it justifiable base on their "past". But out of all her books. This one is my favorite and the only one I finished reading. The ml is a very flawed person. For me he seems to be the protagonists/mc. This is the fl's story but she's barely in it. Her character isn't as interesting as the ml is. I don't know if you'll love this. But this is much more tamed than BTNHH & BTIAY..

I don't usually comment on novels I read but I must say this, the male characters are not up to my standard at all because to be sincere here if a man do have of what they did to the female characters in real life ,there will be no forgiveness talkless of love. To me I believe in straightforward or cunning way to woo a woman not the kind where you will do every good for the lady but you never miss a time to insult,mock,point out their insecurity to them and downgrade them whenever you set your eye on her. That alone ruin all the good things you did, to me the male leads are immature when it comes to love (because they put their ego before love, and over do it to the extent that when they realise their mistakes the females had exhausted their love) overall I like the way you build their world and you portray the characters in the way you want us to see them (except from the leads) Don't take noye of my bad grammar, just woke up and still drowsy 😴 ✌✌✌

I hate this story. WHY? Because it gaVe me a lot of days of eye bags from crying 😭😭😭😭😭😭 really cried a lot. The author is very cruel to the readers. But guys this crying is bECause how touched I am with rhe story so much heartache and sufferIngs because of misunderstanding. I am not against about loving someone so much, it is everyone’s choice but the lesson I learned, is to be open to someone. Show your love openly not in secRet so that there’s no misuderstanding. Kudos to He Jinchen love for Ji Yi, just thinkinG about it my tears keep falling too 😭😭😭😭 why author. The book is good at the same time, i hate it because it made me cry so much. Anyway thank you author.

another great story.. same writer and translator from the other novel i love. this 3rd from my list of favorite story. you won't feel bored with the storyline.also, story completed with just 1000+ chapters. so short that you feel like you need some more from the charters. but the author wrote to everyones content. i just love the feelin' i felt whenever i read this. what matter is the ending of the story. and i conclude that i love it.

Cried like a baby in most every chapter....best moving story I ever read. So glad that Weiwan and Zhifan got to heal and also in return shared a beautiful family. and Hanhan probably ranked his father last because it took him long to join the family😂😉😂😂

I truly enjoyed reading this novel. It so full of emotions- hate, love, sadness, happiness and heartbreaking. The ending is so so touching between the couple showing true love despite all the ups and downs they have gone through and as narrated by their daughter. If you like emotional novel I would recommend this novel. Forget about the 4.4 rating just read it and it worth the roller coaster.

A billion stars have never seemed sooo insignificant, the author made the readers see that love is a funny thing. it sneaks up on you, latches on and refuses to let go once its sunk its fangs in. *sigh*

This story is awesome, some people might not like this But I really loved it. If you haven't read any book written by 'Ye Fei Ye' and this is your first then you will absolutely be engrossed in it but if you read Ye Fei Ye's other books like (Taking the nations husband home or Temperamental Adonis ) then there might be some problems because I also read those books first and I realized that the base of the stories by Ye Fei Ye are mostly same (in BNHH + Temperamental adonis) But still I love this book 💖 The ending of Jichen and Ji Yi really broke my heart 💔 they were already pitiful enough but.....🥺😖😫😭😭😭😭😭. Their ending touched my heart so much and left me heartbroken😭😭. No offense but please don't say gibberish without reading the whole book🙏🏼🙏 Love y'all and Happy Reading!!🙂☺

I started reading thought it would be great I found it was mental torcher I read till chapter 96 found utterly asshole Ml he claims he love her in his heart but every now and then just humiliate FL abuse her .... he is violent egoist.... if female said something he became super angry and abuse her .... I don't feel like reading and yeah it's another show biz novel..... I mean common Yaar there no other profession or work other than acting or author don't know about other areas than acting.. it time waste to read it ..... it better to re read another novel

I'm a fantasy romance writer but my preferences in writing are contemporary romance novels lol. i love ye Fei Ye for writing another book with a good plot, having said with the translator who made use of their talents in skills in writing and translating. I'm just a passer by. . There are still other books that Ye Fei Ye has cultivated in the creative writing industry.. .. . Find it yourselves. I'm just leaving a review cuz I miss reading this one.

i really like dis story....it has a lot of life which really makes me want to read over all again and i really enjoyed it while reading. the characters are well built nd improvised, the creation is really remarkable and also it's makes one to feel as it happend to them, male lead character has personality which the readers love to read and also the emotions and change in the scenes are all very good and it's refreshing.

Interesting storyline with 2 main couples. However , majority of the chapters are about misunderstandings . Would be nice if more emphasis is given to their lives post misunderstandings .

This is tthe second time I'm reading this book. Still the emotions are pulling me. I really like both the main characters in this book. The way their love has been showed in this book. No words. Awesome.
