First thing that i notice on this novel is..the chef was crazy!. Hahaha. He has a god like way of cooking and it was gain due ti experience and teachings from the prisoners. His father is a police and they live in the desserts where his father work. He grow up living with the prisoners..learning many unique things. But I love the detailed cooking that he do. Thanks author ☺️

It a good novel to read. It not all about food. I still have to give this novel 2 thumbs up. The updates were stable. The author disappeared for almost a week now. Hopefully it starts up again soon.

For the people who call this novel trash just because of the title "Maverick Chef" is really a narrow-minded person. You can read in the synopsis that "Bai Lu grew up in a mysterious prison, where he learnt many interesting abilities." He grew up in a PRISON! with different kinds of people that he encountered living there is enough for him to have various skills and logically can include it in the story. A person in real life can have a lot of experience and skills in various things and jobs especially if you're not a well-off person, so don't judge this book if the story is not a proper gourmet novel. This kind of story makes it more interesting because it's not just all about cooking, it also shows the background of MC.

Why this story dnt end. It's like non stop tv serial. And i have to wait for new chapter every time. I just read one novel for first time. It's non ending and have to wait for days for new chapter

this novel has been wrongly titled you know.....it should be called the maverick errands boy(coz that's the only thing i've seen him do in the entire novel)

It a too disappointing. What the MC goal? Money? Fame? He has no character. He is just bending according to his wishes. If he really needs money, why not open the restaurant for the whole day.? What's the point of this ****ty regulations? Is author trying to copy from other cooking novels?

I read a few chapters and the story is great. But the problem is whether would I able to wait 5 years for it to finish. 7 chapters / wk & total 1987 chapters. 5 year 4 months and few days to translate finish the whole novel. =)
