Does a supporting character have a chance at love? or is he destined to be in the shadow of the main character?

She turned towards him surprised.

I leaned in and whispered into her ear while grinning "You are not the only one who can read someone's true intentions."

She blushed.

For the first time in his life, Makoto felt no need to put on an act around somebody.
