I was proud that even before I graduated university, I was able to secure a teaching job in the city. Teaching has been part of me ever since I was a little girl. Well, it was practically because I was always left in charge by our youth ministry leader to lead the children service whenever she had to go back in church to participate in bible school studies. So, I taught kids my age and younger than me memory verse, action songs and song of praise. Maybe that was the reason why my mother forced me to take education major in mathematics. I always love math since kindergarten so I did not mind. I was one of those fresh high school graduate students who was unsure what to pursue in life. I let other people decide my life which did not turn out well. To be honest, I wanted to take marine transportation in university but people discouraged me as they said you can never find jobs when you are in land. Life lesson number 1: Do not let other people ever dictate your decision. It is your life! Anyways, so I decided to take accountancy at first in university because my entrance examination scores was good enough to join the program. I flunked it. I passed all other courses except Accounting 1 so that was how I ended in School of Education. I finished my degree in 5 years which is supposed to be completed in 4 years. Well, It wasn't because I failed several courses which I actually did but it was not a lot, you know. It is never easy to do something which you never ever wanted to do. If I had the choice, I would have taken engineering. Well, back to the topic, for your information, I was also a SK chairman as most of my years in university. I got elected as one in my 4th year of high school. I spent most of my weekends campaigning and persuading people to vote for me than spent my time reading books or did homework. So, that was the reason I finished university in 5 years. I busy hosting basketball leagues in our barangay instead of attending summer classes which was mandatory in my degree. Nevertheless, I got a job before my graduation. Well, I kind of felt bad that I got the job. It was because most my classmate also applied there but I was the one who got accepted instead. He was smarter than me. Oh well, he got accepted in the school right next door so everything was well. So, after graduation, I told myself that I was going to rule my world and not my mother anymore! So, I got my own place. It was not bad. I rented a room with a bathroom in it. I had a bunk bed which was ironic since I was the only occupant. Well the upper bed served as my additional storage space for whatever unnecessary stuff I had with me. I think I should be introducing my love life to you guys already but I do not know who to begin. Well, at this point it is kinda too late eh? But it is kinda mess up because I am one of those girls who dated several guys. I had a father issue which gave me a fright whenever I date a guy. First, he should never be like my bastard father. Second, he can never be like my bastard father. I think you got the point there. Well, I had my first boyfriend when I was in grade 5 and it did not turn out well as my mother saw the cramped love letter in my school bag in Christmas Eve. Way to ruin the Christmas spirit! My mother has been nosy to me. So, after the holidays, the classes resumed and I ghosted my then boyfriend (He was not even the guy who was courting me all holiday vacation, he was only a chaperon). Then, high school begun. I had this huge crush. I thought he felt the same way. The typical sharing this small chair in class just to be together. Then, I heard he actually liked another girl. I was sad. Then, second year came, I was texting this guys over the summer and we hit it good but when the classes resumed he transferred to another school in he city so we never really saw each other much. He then told me that he would be coming back to our school starting third quarter and I was happy but then another devastating news came. Well, when I was in high school I had this group of friends and most of them were my childhood friends and our group grew bigger when we met new people and let them join the group. So, going back to the topic, my then boyfriend came back to my school and only to find out he was dating another girl in our friend group. I was like, "what?!!!" I thought he came back because of me. I was so mad at my friend slash cousin. But then, later that night I realized that friendship is more important than a guy. I will find someone else. I talked to my girl friend and I forgave her. Two weeks later, they broke up. I never knew the reason. In my third year, I had a long distance relationship. He was introduced to me by my mother's co-workmate. We never really met but it all started in a text message. It was really nothing serious since he was really far from me. So, 4th year high school came too. Then, I was dating 3 guys at the same time. The LDR guy, the first year crush and the cousin of the guy who had a crush on me. Well, it was a mess. I was a mess. But you cannot blame me. I was just looking for that guy who is not my father. I'm serious about that. Though I might sound like the player girl but I always cried for all those guys I dated. I was serious about them too but I just had a weird way of dating which was unforgivable I admit. So, the first year crush confronted me and almost hit me. He was cussing at me. I told him it is over. He even talked to the other boyfriend and told him that I was dating three guys in a row. In the end, I ended up with the LDR guy.
