"Captain, this is paradise!" Wang Yi exclaimed, rubbing his hands together in anticipation. 

His hands were itching to do shopping.

"Remember what I said—no unnecessary splurging. We need to be smart about this." Liu Feng reminded him.

But Wang Yi was already off, grabbing a cart and pushing it down the first aisle with a gleeful grin.

"Don't worry, Captain! I'll be smart about it!"

Liu Feng sighed, knowing it was a lost cause, but allowed Wang Yi his moment.

The soldiers followed at a slower pace, scanning the shelves more conservatively.

In fact, like Wang Yi, they too wanted to shop but to their dismay, they didn't bring money at all.

Wang Yi's first stop was the snacks aisle.

His eyes widened as he saw shelf after shelf of long-forgotten favorites: potato chips, chocolate bars, instant noodles in every flavor imaginable, and vacuum-sealed jerky.
