Chapter 198: A passion so deep

MAVERICK'S POV

She was beautiful. 

Even with her eyes clenched shut because of the pain she was feeling and tears rolling down the corner of her cheeks, she was the most beautiful girl I have ever laid my eyes on.

I don't know why I was feeling like this. 

Yes, I confessed earlier and meant every word I said to her. 

I would kill everyone and anyone if it meant she would be safe with me. I wasn't the kind of lover who would allow her to be happy with someone else. She was only mine.

However, I was the kind of villain who would do everything to protect her. They called me a beast for a reason.

These feelings were more than just love. This ache in my heart was more than that. 

Tears brimmed my eyes too when I saw her so much in pain and contemplated if I shouldn't have pushed myself inside her like this.
