I couldn't process what he was talking about. No. I mean, I knew what his words meant, but was he really serious about it?

"Shadow, what are you-"

"I am going to proceed with my wish. If you don't like it, avert your face and slap me to bring me out of this desire that is building inside me for you," Shadow said.

Millions of thoughts started to encircle in my head.

Even though his face was only an inch apart, it almost felt like we were miles away as he brought his face close to mine slowly, probably giving me enough time to think about everything and a chance to leave.
