VALENCIA'S POV

"You have a nice home. Quite cozy, I must say," Shadow walked around, and I smiled bitterly.

Now how do I ask him to get out of my house because the plans changed suddenly?

"Thank you," I forced a smile, knowing all too well I couldn't be rude to him when I was the one who invited him.

He turned around and looked at me with furrowed brows.

"Your complexion doesn't look so good anymore. Are you okay? Are you feeling unwell," Shadow asked as he stepped closer, with his hand extended towards me.

"Don't move!" I stepped back, and he looked at me, confused.

I tried to calm my heart.

Calm down, Valencia. Why are you making it look like it's some big deal when it's not? He is here for dinner.

'But what if we are his food? Imagine him eating-' Aurora started speaking, and I nearly choked on my saliva.
