Tristan had gained Queen Leena's full support to absorb the four souls of the fallen magus-level elves from this ill-fated expedition. Despite King Ivaasar's dissent, he couldn't prevent the process, particularly with Kolvar lying unconscious.

Opening each soul storage bottle one by one, Tristan released the spirits, which immediately attempted to escape like giant fireflies. These spirit souls seemed to sense Tristan's intentions and tried to fly away. Yet, a modicum of Tristan's spirit force restrained them.
