The four lightning bolts rained down and showered Ben's body with pain. His brain doing all it could to numb the oncoming pain but to no avail. The lightning rattling around inside his body almost made him go mad.

After he realized that he had taken out all of the usefulness from the tribulation energy as he could he decided to return back home.

When he returned home it was close to morning so he decided to get as much sleep as possible before his father would wake him up.

When he woke up he realized that it was near the middle of the day and his dad didn't try to wake him up. Ben proceeded to the entire house to find him but all he found was a note signed by his dad reading:

Dear Ben,

I know you won't know what this is about so I will keep this short. Your mother is not dead she was taken from us shortly after you were born. She is so close but so far and she needs help but you were too young so I couldn't leave earlier but now it is serious. My chances at survival is slim to none but i will go after the ones that took your mother and i will get my revenge. I know you can handle yourself because i know you are a lot smarter than what you let on and will do fine without us. I have left some things with the villager blacksmith that should help you in the future and a message if you want to find us.

Love your Father,

Althus Moore

When he read this he was flabbergasted. His mother was alive and his father went after the men that kidnapped her. Reading the last portion of the note he wondered what his father could have given him and also how he didn't know his father's first name.

He went out to the village center and looked around for the blacksmith. When he got to the forge a burly dwarf walked up to him and gave him a small chest.

-You know your father was once a powerful mage that helped defeat the evil god of this world. (Black the Blacksmith)

-Yeah, he was one of my best mates on that adventure. He and your mom were both great mages. Your dad a destruction mage while your mother a healer. If you couldn't tell i was the main archer of the group.(Black the Blacksmith)

-No way.(Ben)

-Yeah naw i was the main tank.(Black the Blacksmith)
