Building Baby

Roxanne is a tough, no-nonsense construction site manager who is down on her luck. Eager to save her dad from a dangerous loan shark, she agrees to a deal with a wealthy, refined real estate investor, Tom. In exchange for helping Roxanne keep her job and construction on track, she agrees to have a baby with Tom, who is eyeing a piece of property to develop that can only be sold to a family-friendly investor. While Roxanne does not consider herself maternal, her construction knowledge and rough-around-the-edges attitude charms Tom. Together, this improbable pair navigate some unexpected twists and have a baby, all while developing an unlikely romance.

“Still on her knees, she pulled off Tom’s shirt. His lanky body, taut and firm, excited her. He unhooked her bra and brought her shirt over her head. They continued to kiss as Tom pushed Roxanne back on the bed. He kissed her left breast, then her right, his soft lips arousing her. His movements were both gentle and fluid, unlike the stiff, robotic movements she was used to seeing from Tom.
She hugged his back and pressed his body into hers, wanting to feel his curves and muscles. She gazed in his eyes and kissed him once softly, then again ardently, her yearning for him growing.
‘I thought I might never see you again,’ he whispered in her ear. ‘And I realized, I couldn’t live without you.’ He kissed her hard, his face and body entwining with hers. She returned his passion, her hips pressing up into his manliness.”
