Lin Mei is a talented young woman who had a bright future ahead of her in the field of law. She was a prodigy, unique, talented young woman. She even earned herself a name in the field of law where most people were old or were men. Lin Mei is a 22 year old woman who is a famed lawyer and people of the nation gave her the title “Beautiful Ice Defender” since she has won all her cases and she has an aloof and cold personality yet she is very beautiful.
What will happen though when her brother and best friend die? Is it really an accident? It was well known that her weakness was her twin brother and best friend (who were dating btw) and her job is dangerous as she faces threats from her cases. She is also not who everyone thinks she is... she also is an heiress to a well-known group who specializes in martial arts of all forms and is almost like a bodyguard agency in a sense. It is a very known company and a group having deep roots from back then in the dynasties.
Wang Chen is a cold, aloof handsome man who is a genius that built a company from scratch, in 4 years making it one of the biggest corporations in the world and the top conglomerate in the nation. At 25 years old, he is a genius who shook the business industry, and to top that off he is also a handsome man standing at 6’1 and a good body. He is also the heir to the top Chinese mafia that controls the underground (black market and such) to make sure everything runs smoothly.
By chance, they met when Mei Lin announced to the world after a court case outside the supreme court that she’d be taking the case of an actor, who was a close friend of Wang Chen.
What will happen as they cross paths even after the case? Will they become closer? What would happen after Lin Mei finds out that he is involved with the supposed “accident” of her beloved ones?
