Chapter 35: Heart Is Tight

Honestly, Billy's heart was a little tight, Billy knew exactly how Clarissa always rejected all the men who tried to approach her. No matter how handsome the man was, how smart, or how rich and established, Clarissa would never open her heart to anyone.

Billy was one of those guys lucky enough to have gotten this close to Clarissa. It was because he always tried to hide his feelings and naturally approached Clarissa as a friend, after being close enough he gradually gave her codes, but until now Clarissa had not given Billy the green light.

Now that the men knew the reason behind all the rejection, it must be because Clarissa is still having a hard time coming to terms with her past. That means Billy has a pretty tough rival now.

"You'd be very surprised to hear that," Clarissa said with an enigmatic smile.
