Chapter 100: C. Rose of Emotion.

"How did you get in there?" Vanilla asked as she opened the window, raising one of her eyebrows and putting her right hand on her waist.

The contractor wore a smirk on his Asian face. He raised his leg and crossed over, stepping from the angled dark finishes outside to the wooden planks on the floor of the room.

"Like a ninja," He responded, shaking dust away from his shoulders. "Have you heard about them? Japan is an amazing country. One of these days I might consider taking you with me right there." 

"So, you jumped all over and climbed up through the finishes instead of using your teleportation powers?" Vanilla skeptical tone irradiated more seriousness than her first question.

"I'm just kidding," He made a sweeping-hand gesture. "My calculations for the teleporting jump failed, so I ended up at that small niche. I almost fell and broke my back! And to think I've used it on you more than once." He smirked, pronouncing playfulness in his words.
