Chapter 154: CLIV. No Longer a Small Puppy.

"Rowie? Are you here?" Vanilla went to the front yard of the residence. The sun's rays washed the pale skin of her face and calves; a warm and fresh sensation that made her feel alive every morning. 

"Vanilla? Good morning!" The pup —who was no longer a pup— wagged his puffy whitetail. He approached jogging from the other side of the front yard.

"Good morning, Rowie!" She said in low voice with enthusiasm, trying to make sure no one heard them. "Hey!" She took a step back. "You're so big now. If you jump on me you are going to make me fall over."

"I am sorry," Rowie said. Vanilla was right. One year had given him enough time to grow up to his maximum size; he was 70cm tall, or 2.2 feet in imperial units. Considering that Vanilla was only 4'7 feet in height, he looked even bigger when standing next to her. He was about the same height when standing up!
