Chapter 123: CXXIII. Star Remnants.

"So, what do you think? Do you like it?" Cookie's companion asked. Both levitated almost at the level of the infinite particles that conformed Saturn's rings without stepping on them directly. Cookie had tried to do so, but she felt as if she got dragged down towards their freezing interior as if she was stepping quicksand. 

"It's… it's wonderful. How do I put it?" Her eyes brightened by unspilled tears of stirred joy. She looked away, right into the tiny sun of four engulfing rays that observed both from the bottom of the black sky. The terrain was nothing but white to wherever the distance could embark, like the flattest and most shiny tundra that could ever exist.
