"About that," Vanilla continued and reached for her backpack, looking for the proof that gave the word 'family' a literal sense in this occasion. "Lancelot told me about your family. Your wife and daughter."

"Oh, you gossiping sack of bones." Sir William Oaths told the skeleton, but more playful and teasing rather than disapproving.

"If I am correct, then I met your daughter." Vanilla found the medallion she found laying on the street after she defeating the horse-head woman and getting her free from a destiny of sorrow and misery. She extended it to William.

The man grabbed it from her hands, in a gesture of confusion, but his eyes focused on the tiny medallion. Only the name still stood legible after a lifetime of mistreating and erosion: 'Ethel, Family Land'.

"Will," Lancelot spoke. "The Land's did adopt her. They gave her a worthy life in the best they could. They also named her in your honor, I told them you liked the name of Ethel."
