Chapter 26: XXVI. The Very Essence of Fantasy.

This time Vanilla's return to her home didn't put her in any trouble with local folks and their bathing routines. 

"By the way, Vanilla." The pup asked, laying on her red bed. "Why do you sign these contracts so confidently? I thought you'd be... the highly mistrusting type."

"Considering everything," Vanilla was sitting on her desk, giving her back to Rowie. "What's the worst that could happen? I am already the slave of that being. And besides, It's free adventures for us. Is not that good reason enough?" She responded, more to herself than to Rowie, trying to sound self-convincing enough to not overthink the situation.

"Hmm... If you say so." He on his back, with his stomach too full to want to run or move. The contractor did as he promised. All the desserts traveled with them to the Land Residence, more specifically Vanilla's room, sure she would not run sick of them before Rowie finished them all.
