A half-moon and glittering stars crowned the night sky. A huge stone building raised in the middle of steaming chimneys and funnels turned into silver by the phantasmagorical glow. The wind soared in dwell and anguish, hollowing through the night, disguising the passionate suspires and words of forbidden love that resonated through the cold, empty hallways of the palace.
A man looked at another with mournful and loving eyes, giving in to the monster that imprisioned his hands to the bed, even though he wouldn't oppose any resistance.
The monster's eyes fixated on the dark skin from the neck of his partner. Hunger pierced on his guts as the moonlight reflected blue spectrums, gently illuminating the room with a misterious and almost magical haze.

A vampire.

A creature with bloody red eyes and sharp long fangs designed to pierce through the flesh of a living body was about to devour him...
Just the thought of it filled his mind with horror and fear. Bitter anxiety penetrated his senses, sending cold shivers through his spine; his hands and legs tense, trembling as the beautiful man above him leaned forward...

Cursed blood. That’s the reason of everything.

Hupyrmus is a kingdom where every soul pursued in other lands can find shelter. Sorcerers, heretics, scientists and those who abandoned their humanity are able to find a somewhere to live in a vivacious land where steam fills the skies of the main city, surrounded by natural spaces and farms.

Ayla’s dreams are the same as her father’s, the king of Hupyrmus: Make a land where both humans of all kinds and vampires live in harmony. But Ayla is now about find out that the world is a little more complex than her comfortable ideas of love and peace. She’ll get to know in depth both species as she fulfills the role of a guardian, protecting vampires and humans from their bloodlust.
