"What was that?" Alex protested after Adrian's car left their house. Actually, she wanted to ask why the man used Jason's car and not his own. But she was still disturbed by what Adrian said in front of her family a while ago.

Adrian glanced at Alex briefly and shifted gears. And remembered the two cars he left at Karl's house. Yeah, he is just not sure if he left his car in the apartment for a month while he went overseas. At least if they are at his friend's house, the driver can warm up the engine every morning.
