Alex immediately looked away from Adrian as soon as she felt her face turn red. She had heard it from Alice already, but hearing those words directly from the man's own lips made her unable to move. Her face is red, her tongue is numb and her heart is pounding. Wait, did she just say that her heart is pounding? Not. It is not possible.That shouldn't happen. But, her heart was really pounding.
