Chapter 66: Chapter Sixty Seven

Chase couldn't wait to take Lia out on a date.

She tried to tell him that they didn't have to do anything outside of the apartment and that they could just order takeout and watch a movie, but he insisted on them going out.

He planned their first date by himself and kept the destination a surprise.

He also couldn't wait until the weekend.

"Wear something comfortable, babe." Chase called out to her from the bathroom. It was five in the afternoon on a workday for him, not her. She had a two-month long summer holiday - teacher jobs have some perks. He came home from work early for this.

"Where are we going?" she asked him, knowing he wouldn't tell her. She's tried and failed multiple times already.
