Chase spooned ice cream to Lia.

But don't worry, the ice cream was soy-based since she is lactose-intolerant.

And in case you are wondering why and how she got the privilege of being spoon-fed anything by Chase, she fucking earned it.

She got hurt at school.

She got freakishly hurt. She sprained her ankle bone, her weird elbow, and her enviable cheek.

It happened early in the morning, at the school assembly, in front of the entire teacher and student body. She has never heard so many gasps in her entire life, followed by so much laughter. That's what happens when she trips and falls into a file of school bags, some of which are not very soft, in front of a hundred middle schoolers.
