Chapter 112: Season Two: Chapter Twenty (Part II)

Right after she was out of Chelsea's bedroom, Lia had no time to bring her thoughts back to Chase as her phone chose to ring at this moment.

It was Alex.

"Alex? What's with this call?" She asked after answering the call.

"Amelia Gonzales! How could you?!"

Lia was stunned by the shout from her best friends. 

"What?"

"Don't you dare let that man near you again!"

And she finally got what the woman was fussing about.

"Oh, you knew."

"Pfft! Please, Lia, there is nothing I don't know."

"Yeah, right. It was because of Lucas." She mumbled.

Alex sighed into the phone. "Lia, you have been staying there for years in peace. And I want you to continue living in such peace, having no jerks to bother you. You'd had enough of everything bad that had happened in your life in the past. And therefore, to maintain that peace you have, you will need to protect yourself and Chelsea from jerks like Chase Ruiz!"
